Origin Fins HD
Description
These fins were originally designed for the U.S. Military Underwater Demolition Team (UDT) and saw extensive use in the 1960s. Today, the ORIGIN fins carry forward this historic legacy with a modern upgrade. The heavy-duty requirements of technical diving align perfectly with these durable, abrasion-resistant fins made from a single material. Staying true to the original designs and patents, they come either as neutral (LD) or negative (HD) rubber versions. The ORIGIN HD is a high-density material which is slightly negative, perfect for the use with drysuits and mid to heavy gear.
Ultra durable and robust for the harshest environments.
Slightly negative for the ease of staying horizontal.
Ergonomic foot pockets, ideally to be used with our MALMO rockboots.
The vented blades are short and wide, providing a very strong forward thrust.
Great for flutter kicks, frog kicks, helicopter turns and overall maneuverability.
Attachment points when accessing the dive site or for vertical storage.
Auto adjusting spring straps with internal safety cable.
Strap pads with large finger loops for ease of use with cold hands or thick gloves.
The angled buckle keeps the straps in an optimal position over the heel cap.
The simple pin design allows the straps to be easily replaced if necessary.
